Our everyday fin for Displacement Hulls and Evo’s, this fin works perfect as a single fin or coupled with the side bites. Can also be used in shorter mid-lengths. More upright template for supreme drive off the bottom which is the order of the day with any Displacement Hull.
Volan fiberglass
Originally used in boatbuilding and general fiberglass construction, volan fell out of favour with the surfboard industry when silane treated glass was introduced, making for much clearer laminates. Volan glass is still an excellent glass for single fins, retro fins, longboard and logger fins. It has a unique flex to it, very strong in its fiber, giving it a spring-like flex, identifiable by its light olive green tinge.
